  1. everything is overpriced over there, the government should look into those store owners as well as drivers who take advantage of tourists both locals and foreigners. thanks for sharing your travel tips and experiences. definitely helpful! palawan and boracay are so popular destinations in the philippines so it’s crowded and 😒😏. and so if you like the quiet island life experience opt for less popular ones, off the beaten path, say the harder to get to that destination, the better 🌴 but make sure you have everything you need. and yes bring a book and perhaps a solar powered laptop to start your next best selling novel 😚😘

  2. We flew into PP and rode enduros into El Nido. We took the long hard road with an overnite in Port Barton. Hoping to dive the islands in June of 20 but so far I'm out voted 2-1 for phi phi, koh tau or koh chang. 🙁

  3. We paid only 300 peco for big comfortable bus with aircone from puerto princesse to el nido it taken 5 hours 30 minutes to get there.

  4. That it now has a Mcdonalds on grounds that used to be a coconut grove. Bravo Tourism, now when is Jollibee arriving to make El Nido look more like Manila.

  5. You forgot to mention how the van drivers are crazy. Crazy as in going over 100 km/h all the way no matter how steep the roads arw which is a huge concern .

  6. Dry bags definitely essential! 🙌 I've never seen so many dry bags being sold anywhere outside El Nido, but for good reason. They're cheap and honestly work better than the over US$100 one I bought at home. My favourite part of Palawan was taking the Tao Expeditions boat from El Nido to Coron (4d/3n).⛵ That's probably about the only way you actually get the islands without being surrounded by loads of other boats. I really had fun flying my drone there – the view of the islands and the water from the air is awesome! 🏝
