Windows 32-bit users: You can install the 32-bit versions of Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 and After Effects CS4 included with the CS5 and CS5.5 versions of the Production Premium and Master Collection suites. For users with version CS6, contact Adobe Customer Service to request your serial number for Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. After upgrading to a compatible 64-bit operating system, you can install and use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects CS5 and later.

Install Production Premium or Master Collection CS5 and later with 32-bit video support from disc

Before you start, close all applications and be sure that you have administrative privileges or can validate as an administrator.

The components of your suite edition are on multiple DVDs:

Adobe Creative Suite 5 or later Application DVD set (multiple discs)
Adobe Content DVD (a single disc, contains the 32-bit support package)
The product box also contains serial numbers for the following:

Adobe Creative Suite 5 (or later)
32-bit support for CS5.5 Production Premium and CS5.5 Master Collection (Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 and After Effects CS4)
Important: Locate all installation media and serial numbers before you begin the installation process.

Note: If you purchased an upgrade, you must have a qualifying serial number to complete the installation.

Install the suite from disc
Insert the Adobe Creative Suite Application DVD 1 disc into your DVD drive, navigate to the root directory, and double-click Set-up.exe to begin the installation.

Note: Depending on your AutoPlay settings, the Set-up.exe file can launch automatically.

Follow the onscreen instructions to install Adobe Creative Suite.
When prompted for a serial number, enter your Adobe Creative Suite serial number. You are sometimes asked to close conflicting processes to complete the installation process.

If you are upgrading from CS4 Production Premium, you can stop here.

If you are upgrading from a stand-alone version of Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 or After Effects CS4, continue to Install the 32-bit support package from the disc.

Install the 32-bit support package from disc
If you upgraded from a stand-alone version of Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 or After Effects CS4, it’s necessary to uninstall it before installing the 32-bit support package:

Open the Windows Control Panel.
Double-click Programs and Features (Windows 7 and Vista) or Add Or Remove Programs (Windows XP).
Select the product that you want to uninstall, and then click Uninstall/Change (Windows 7 and Vista) or Change/Remove (Windows XP).
Follow the onscreen instructions.
To install the 32-bit support package:

Insert the Adobe Creative Suite Content Disc into your machine.
Open the Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 For Win 32 Bit folder.
Open the Adobe CS4 folder.
Double-click Setup.exe.
Follow the onscreen instructions to install the 32-bit support package.
When prompted for a serial number, enter your 32-bit support for CS5 or later Production Premium and Master Collection serial number to complete the installation. You are sometimes asked to close conflicting processes to complete the installation.
