  1. Man!!! i really enjoy listening and watching you work on equipment. I have a ONKYO INTEGRA STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER M-504; Real Phase Power Supply 4×2 Capacitor Block Dual Mono Amplifier Design. I would love for you to feature it on one of your video's. I would love to see a resolution on it of course i would pay for everything. I think it's a interesting amplifier to get into. Here's my link or Email Thank you! for your video's they're very entertaining & Educational. P.S it still works but needs refreshing.

  2. Had the 1060 as the heart of my system for 20 years. Over time the caps dried out, common problem with all amps of this vintage. But easy to work on.
Was time to move on replaced with a nakamichi. Marantz sat for another 20 years b4 I gave it away. Wish I'd kept it. Same goes for my pioneer pl12d belt drive turntable. I pared these with advent speakers 4 ohm but the match was superb thd was .1 very good clean sound for the time. My test album was always pink Floyd's dark side of the moon. Great for testing channel separation. My ear did the rest.
The higher end replacements didn't last nearly as long. And you couldn't work on them

  3. Nice work.
I am having trouble following the video though. I fing the close-up view while bobbing and swaying is making me a littke sea-sick.
Maybe a fixed mount overhead view might be a nice change.
It might just be me, but I can't do it in one sittting.

  4. I will save this as I hope to get my little brother to the 1060 fixed up I got a 1030 from a close friend that passed away and I love the sound I get from. This comparison to junk of today this is pure gold even with old caps that I hope to replace soon.

  10. I was wondering if this kind of restoration service will be available for customers, How much woul be cost consideing the lot of time, effort, knowledge and of course new parts? ! I have a Sony Discman D-NE900 a rare japanese model aluminium body with a large LCD display and after many years of enjoy the display stop working but the entire discman works fine. In my currently country is so sda there are no electronics specialist like you who can do this kind of work with old electronic stuffs. I dont mind to send it to any where of the world and paid for shipping and repair if someone could repair a very important thing for me. Thanks a lot for your very interesting videos ! We all learn a lot from you !
