  2. I recently bought a couple new pairs of needle nose Vice Grip brand locking pliers. The jaws don't line up very well and move around sideways a lot. I can't get them to grip anything very small. I'm not impressed with them at all. Thanks for this video!

  3. Dave just checked a pair of mine. they are from Dewitt Nebraska stamped on them with the date of manufacture April 14,1942. doesn't say made in the USA but then again back then everything was automatically made in the USA. They open from 0 to 1 1/2 inches. Have a good one. Need a hot cup of coffee to kick off the day. 👍

  4. I've never had to use those C-clamp ones but there's been many a time I've been broken down on the side of the road and nothing to get me going again except for a pair of vise grips! Great video as always my friend.

  5. Dave thanks for the history lesson. I have to go check mine that are from the '60s/'70s Era. Not too much made in the USA nowadays. I just bought a pair of those relay pulling pliers from your store. Haven't checked them out yet but they look decent. anyway have a good one and thanks for the video. 👍👍👍 Dave all mine are made in the USA.

  6. Awesome vid I hope to see more tools made back in the states as well!! I have not had good luck with the grip on/snap on locking pliers I sold mine they just didn't hold up but maybe I got a bad batch lol

  7. It's all about the money. Cheap 1st quality 2nd. I just picked a pr of locking pliers from lowes kolbalt brand 22.95 before tax made in chins. Too.s I've gotten from taiwan seem better quality than china
